Order of the Sinking Star Nintendo Switch 2

Find the US digital Switch 2 product

Use the Nintendo US product page. Its identifying fields are Nintendo Switch 2, Digital and Arc Games, with an October 8, 2026 release date. Those fields distinguish this edition from similarly worded search results or an undated retailer listing.

The publisher announced a $29.99 launch price. The supplied Nintendo page's extracted purchase section did not expose a reliable live price, so use its current local purchase panel before paying. The price and bundle comparison identifies which prices were actually observed and which were announcement prices.

Japanese console publishing is handled separately by PLAYISM. Check Japan release & PLAYISM if your account uses the Japanese store; the US launch date is not proof that the Japanese edition is available.

Plan around the listed play modes and download size

The three mode labels establish that you can play on a TV, on a tabletop or on the handheld screen. The product record does not give a mode-specific frame-rate target, resolution or battery-life measurement.

Separate the game download from a demo, cartridge or save transfer

Demo

The checked Nintendo product record identifies the full digital game; it does not confirm a separate Switch 2 demo download. The June Steam demo belongs to a different platform and release window. Its download and carry-over information cannot be reused as Switch 2 instructions.

Physical edition

Nintendo's checked US edition is Digital. The checked publisher records do not establish a dated Switch 2 cartridge release or its contents. A retailer's preliminary picture and product alert are a different kind of record; the physical-edition status page explains that distinction.

Save Data Cloud

Nintendo explicitly lists this backup feature and its Nintendo Switch Online membership requirement. This is save backup, not cloud streaming of the game.

Progress from another edition

Save Data Cloud support alone does not confirm that Steam or PS5 progress can be imported into this Switch 2 edition. The official historical demo carry-over promise was specifically for Steam, not a console transfer promise.

Before buying primarily to continue an existing playthrough, read cross-save and cloud saves. If owning a cartridge is the deciding factor, read physical edition status rather than treating a digital store page as a retail announcement.

Read the language list for this edition

The supplied Nintendo US record lists American English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Korean, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. Japanese is listed in PLAYISM's Japanese console record, which has its own release status. Do not use that regional announcement to silently add Japanese to the checked US Switch 2 language list.

Check the live product's language field if a particular language is essential to your purchase. This regional list does not divide each language into voice, interface and subtitle support.
